Exploratree
This software is a good software to map all of your thinking in many different types of mind maps. There are many different types of templates of maps but you can also create your own. This application is basically a free online version of Inspiration. I like how there are a wide variety of maps and you can choose from a lot of different types. This could be used in almost all of your classes if you wanted to present something and you wanted to do a mind map than this would be good.
Nudge Me

Do it, do it, done!
This is a very basic application that is simply an online list. You can change backgrounds and add bulleted text by clicking. Once you have finished your point, click the next line down and a new bullet that you can type next to appears. To cross off a point, click it once; to delete, click again. The coolest thing about this website is that you can save the link to your list, bookmark it, send it to yourself, or to your friends, who in turn can edit it. Also the built-in templates are pretty good, even though there are only five options. These range from basic to cute to colourful, and the website is being edited to allow custom themes too. As I said before, the tools are saving, bookmarking, sending the list's web address, changing themes, crossing out and deleting points, and also blogging about your list. I attempted to use the latter, it said that the link was currently out of order. There also are useful buttons that come up when you hover the mouse above the line that you are typing on - they are edit and undo - and an option in the bottom left-hand corner that allows you to bring up a new list. This software does what it is supposed to do, organise your ideas and let other people access and change them with permission. I like that about it, and also that the list themes are very much what I would use typically. I don't like that this website is slow, and so every time you click, it reloads the entire website, which takes about a minute. In class, it could be used to list what students had to achieve during class time, or what would be learned over the year, or left by the teacher when absent, or to list homework online. For students, it could be used to divide work when doing it in groups, or to list what materials they need to take to class at the beginning of the year (as a reminder).
Now do This
Now do this is a very cool application. what you do is you wright a list of what you have to do in the box and then press save one of the jobs will show up. When you are done with this job you press the done button. Then the next job will show up. When you are done with all the jobs it will say all done. Then you can make a new list. this is good to remember what you have to do and what you have done.
Evernote

Mindmeister
I like MindMeister because it does a good job of doing what it is supposed to do- help you organize thoughts. `i like it because if your mind is all jumbled up, you can just use it and it makes everything easier. I don't know much about it because I can only guess because you need to sign up to use it... i think that is it's only flaw. I've seen examples and it looks easy to do and it's like inspiration... but I don't have inspiration so it would be really useful because it's just on the internet which makes it easy to access.
Dropmind

Bubbl.us
I like Bubbl.us because it helps with getting your ides straight. Some of the icons are small, which is why it is frustrating to play around with. Maybe if you enlarge it it will be much more helpful, but otherwise it is pretty cool. It is a lot like inspiration, except you can use this with the help of the internet. So for people that don't have inspiration, this could be a good alternative. These 'mind maps' are really helpful for getting all of your ideas down, and are ideal for planning out stories or narratives. A disadvantage is that at some point you have to sign up and make an account but otherwise this application can be really helpful.

Inspiration
Inspiration
Within this software you can create organized mind maps and create other useful ways to organize your ideas. It’s like a mind-map on normal paper just a lot more organized. Also you can choose what kind of mind map you want to use, the one you feel more comfortable with. For instance you can choose a spider- mind map if that is more comfortable. Inspiration gives you an opportunity to throw your ideas down. The templates are simply different form of organizing your ideas such as mind map and speech bubbles. Then you can click a button which switches the mind map around into a very neat chart. This chart is your mind map, just organized. Useful tools are the tools where you can add or remove branches from your mind map, and the switch button. The switch button makes your mind map into an organized chart. The software does indeed what it’s intended to. The main aspect of Inspiration is to create mind maps in an organized fashion. It certainly does that. In my personal opinion I like that there is different types of mind maps. That is good because then you can choose the one you’re more comfortable with.
Anyhow, this software can be used in subjects such as English. This is because if the class is starting a new story, then use Inspiration to organize and throw your ideas down into. From there you can write a story more easily.
There are many different thing you can do with this aplication such as make mind maps and organise different ideas. There are many different built in templates that you can use to organise your things like mind map etc. There is the speach bubbles that you can use. the speach bubbles is when you attach it to the center of the mind maps. yes it definately does what it is intended to do and it is intended to make an organizing tool. One of the things I like about it is the speach bubbles on the tool bar and it is really easy to use. It could be used to make different mind maps fast on the computer in class.
